History:
I would go through the initial steps of brushing my teeth like this: First, remove the cap from the toothpaste tube. Second,
set the cap on the counter. Third, apply the toothpaste. Fourth, recap the tube. Finally, return the toothpaste to it's proper
storage area...
Why doesn't someone come up with an easier way to handle all this?
While it's inconvenient for me, surely there must be others that have a more difficult problem handling these steps.
For years, I kept waiting for the solution to come to the market.
I finally realized that it would have to be me to
do something about this.
Development:
I went out and bought all kinds of supplies that would be needed for such a task. There were springs, wires, plastic, metal... all
sorts of parts that would be needed to build a sophisticated device. A device that would deliver toothpaste to the toothbrush
with a simple one handed operation that did not require fiddling with the toothpaste cap.
I experimented putting together a device that would incorporate these assorted items. And then a 3D Printer came on the
scene... Ah ha! That could be useful. Suddenly all the springs, hinges and miscellaneous parts went into the trash. And behold, a
product was born... the product that you see here. A simple device that fits the requirement magnificently!
